Gilgamesh poured a flower as an offering, praying for a sign. Midnight woke: had a dream, walking in a gorge, we were small as flies, the mountain was on top of us. Falls asleep again, another bad dream; man appeared took him by the arm gave him water, kidu said it"s a good dream. Another dream; heavens roared and the earth heaved: kittu says its good. Humbaba sounds like they want to kill (this sounds terrible) The personal god is shamash that gave him fresh water is his personal god. Humbaba usually wears 7 layers of armor but this time only one so it"s the perfect time to attack. 2 parts divine and one part human- gilgamesh. Enkidu was made from clay and saliva. Gilgamesh becomes a great king, is a great king. Introduction of gilgamesh and how people view him as a tyrant leader.
