Helen for himself and decide to go to sparta. Menelaus then sought out the aid of his brother in this endeavour. Agamemnon"s reasons for seeking revenge against troy is due to justice. He believes that starting a war with troy will bring justice for the brother"s honour. This was the cause of the trojan war, not only to reclaim his brother"s wife but for their reputation and right to lead argos. The people of argos more specifically the women of argos feel sorrow because their men have all been sent to battle in this war.
