Gender: behaviour, roles that are expected of them. Traditionally sex then forced you into a gender and made u follow the roles and behaviours of gender. Ie boys are strong and cannot cry because they have a penis. Intersectionality: they see only groups as equals like economics or race. Middle class women are not the same as working men but high class men & women are viewed the same. Humans like to see people in dichotomies and opposites like men vs females. Rich vs poor. (everything is broken down to male vs female typically men better) Questioned if she truly loved the blond boy. Takes away one sense of identity by taking away her culture.
