They possess foresight to control the events of human future. Fairytales usually entails young person"s confrontation with estranged magical events in which a moral is always portrayed. They contain linguistic cues phrases or words which tells the types of stories one is reading e. g. once upon a time and happily ever after. Little red cap begins with once upon a time and ends with a traditional set of cues as well. Socializing function- teaches cultural values of the main tellers to the intended audience and can be interpreted in the same way whereas when told to an outsider the discourse may be conflicting.
