Activities involved in bp modeling: continue data collection, model as-is baseline process, document process, verify/validate model. Deliverable: software based bp model, this software allows to (re)draw, analyze and redesign complex processes, allows to examine a process at different levels of detail. Key participants: bpm team and process participants (the roles in the company i. e. sales clerk, bpmn participants (customers, suppliers, company) Information: what info is needed: these questions can be used to describe a bp in both notations. Internal markers indicate the type of task/subprocess: receive and send: this task cannot apply within your pool. You"re only sending and receiving from the participants (i. e. sales and warehousing clerk are in the same pool. It represents the calling element and global task/process rep the called element. Send and receive tasks w/ intermediate message events. T3 gateway t4: t4 cannot proceed til t2 and t3 are done, no condition is checked.
