Interview process: prepare, carry out, and follow up. Relationship models: master/apprentice, analyst plays the role of the apprentice who wants to learn from the interviewee, conduct the interview as if you don"t know anything. Interview mistakes: convincing stakeholders that you"re smart take every opportunity to show you think the stakeholder is smart. Deliverables and dates: try to characterize the problem and its solution. Idea elimination: blending ideas unifying similar ideas, give each participant a certain number of ideas they can pitch, apply acceptance criteria prior to meeting, ranking or scoring methods. Pre-session planning: not an informal session; used to identify important issues and scope of the jad session, select participants, create an agenda, determine deliverables/expected results from these sessions, and allow participants to prepare.
