But the problem is that there is fluoride in the water that we drink - contributes to the demineralization. Fluoride is good for teeth but not good for health. Less useful for predicting age in older people. Long bones grow at growth plates, and stop when they close: the (cid:271)ones don"t g(cid:396)ow any longe(cid:396) when they"(cid:396)e (cid:272)losed. Injuries will cause premature closing (one leg longer) The distances between the bones and estimate age. A lot of their bones are cartilage. The bones are more malleable; less likely to injure mother. Limbs are cartilagenous because the head is so large, it allows for the baby to stay up right: prevents injury bc increased flexibility. Variation in size and age causes issue in sports. Vast majority of pro athletes are born early in school year. December babies are more likely to be labelled as problem child. January babies more likely to be successful in sports and academics.
