Sometimes my empathy dissolves into frustration and rage at our situation. For the first time in history, young women have the opportunity to create a world in our image. But many of us concentrate instead on re-creating the shape of our thighs. A long time ago women did not have the right to go to school, vote, etc. She believes that women are wasting their opportunity to make themselves thinner. Women are spending too much time worrying about their image.
