No goggles: we completed a pairwise comparison ttest, looking at the independent variable of goggle type and the dependent variable of movement time. Therefore, we found that there was significant difference between the no goggles and silver goggles. This indicates that there is a difference between no goggles and silver goggles on how they affect movement time. Silver goggles contributes to a greater movement time, compared to no goggles: since goggle strength is related to blood alcohol level, the higher the blood alcohol level, the greater the effects on information transmission in the nervous system. Gaba is an inhibitory neurotransmitter and binds to gaba receptors, which keeps chlorine ion channels open and allows them to enter the postsynaptic neuron. Alcohol increases this effect by allowing the chlorine channels to open for longer periods of time.
