They will marry trophy wife, or someone they know. Bc people are afraid or ashamed or are dependent on the abuser: 70% abuse from children or grandchildren, 30% from spouse. Cycle of dependency: people should be more aware of elder abuse. Types of abuse: financial, most common type of abuse, children turning on aging parents. It used to be getting inheritance when you are young bc parents died early but now that parents are living longer, baby boomers want inheritance bc they have debt. Not talking to them, lock the in room. And she was left to die by her son.
