- Face Injuries
o Jaw/Mouth/Tooth Injury
Fractures or soft tissue injury
Unable to open jaw, teeth don’t align, pain by
ears
Tooth fracture or avulsion
Handle by crown (keeping integrity of the
root), rinse and keep moist, and transport
with patient
o Cheek Injuries
Fracture of soft tissue
Only place to remove an impaled object
o Nose and Ear Injuries
Nasal Fracture- be aware that it may effect airway
Epistaxis (nose bleed)
Compression and keep head forward and
down to prevent airway blockage from the
blood
Ear laceration or Avulsion
Place dressing between ear and side of head
to maintain integrity
o Eye Injuries
Globe, cornea, orbital fx ect
