In kenya there is a high use of cell phones, the goal was to deliver health communication through text messages. Both low socioeconomic status people and high socioeconomic status people have cell phones easily accessible and not that expensive. Those who did not own a cell phone would still be able to get the message through cell phone sharing or spread of the message. In science the rct are used to obtain scientific proof for a hypothesis. Predictive study demonstates the linkage between a phenomena and another following time. Ex: what your chances of getting cancer are in the future if you smoke a pack a day. Intervention study (1 arm) comparison between pre-intervention and post intervention one group is used and effects before and after are measured. Randomized controlled trials (, 3 or more arms) multiple different groups different/no intervention.
