Sandwich generation  Many ethnic groups have different responsibilities of looking after parents  In Korean culture it’s the oldest male that looks after elderly – has responsibility  Its often times the daughter looking after the mother  Survey determined that women with 3 daughters of daughter in laws were 50% less likely to end up in nursing homes because they had that built in care giving system of daughters Club-Sandwich Generation  Baby boomer sit in there looking after the kids and parents  Kid goes out gets a relationship comes back home – now you have grandchildren
