You can either disagree, agree with hooks or say that carrion ideas fir with your experience and other do not. Remember: data source is what you experienced and observed ( may be your experience was a case of cultural appropriation and may be it was mtual recognition) She broght the idea of class, gender, and other factors , so you can apply these concepts to other form of oppression.
