Multiple methods of communication and information processing (calling, texting, im, sns, twitter, blogs, youtube, websites, forums, gaming etc. ) Less boundaries between producers and receivers (blogs, youtube) - possibly biggest change: 95-4-1 or 95-5 rule: 95% of people absorb information online, 4%/5% produce some. Less anonymity (digital footprint) content, 1% produce majority of content: technological determinism: theory that regards technology as the prime agent/cause of social and organizational change (social, political, economic and cultural) the driving force of history"
