Change of the environment is going to affect our ability to produce food. Water supply that we need for ourselves, and for growing food, What are the causes of global warming and what are the consequences of it - consequences that we"re already observing: It is a natural process that warms the earth"s surface. When the sun"s energy reaches the earth"s atmosphere, some of it is reflected back to space and the rest is absorbed and reradiated by greenhouse gases. The absorbed energy warms the atmosphere and the surface of the earth. The effect of the atmosphere on the earth"s climate; the average weather pattern over a long period of time in a certain place, the composition, the average weather pattern that occurs. W/o the atmosphere the planet would be much cooler. The atmosphere acts as a blanket bc it"s capable of attracting solar radiation - it hits the atmosphere, the atmosphere is transparent to certain waves length.
