Introduction
The Solar System
Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars: the inner terrestrial planets
Giant Planets:
The Gas Giants
Jupiter and Saturn
The Ice Giants
Uranus
Neptune
The Sun
There are many other objects in our solar system, this is not a comprehensive
list
Why do I have to take a natural science course?
We live in this world, and science teaches us something about it
A process we go about to refine our knowledge
It’s part of our lives whether we like it or not
We need to deal with everything with a position of reasoning

The sun is much more massive than the other objects in our solar system
Inner Rocky Planets
Sometimes also referred to as the terrestrial planets
