Raw materials used to form our body: oxygen, glucose, hydrogen, etc. Body needs energy or our living body will decompose (lose shape) Body gets energy from atp and food we eat. The human body is a collection of atoms that are held together by chemical bonds. Precise interactions form precise structures (foundation upon how the body is organized) Molecules interact to form cellular structures and cells. 2)during embryonic development; to form cells and body. To add new molecules to cells and body during growth. To replenish previously existing molecules that are lost used up, or destroyed: food also provides energy.
