In other word"s a new chapter/ vision: even in the late 70s computers were looked at as a luxury and was not in every home, wordstar was a processor which allowed people to type manuscripts by themselves. Ibm was the most trusted company in the computer industry. professionally with the option of spell check etc: the orgin of the personal computer was technological, culture and commercial. Computers as consumer products: from 1977 onwards microcomputer were transformed from hobby machines to consumer machines. New uses for the computer were found, the first computer store was open and many new models of the computer started to appear.
