Planets- venus, mars, jupiter, mercury,saturn (can see with naked eye) Meteors- a "shooting star" or a "falling star" We know the reasons for the changing sky/ motions in sky. But they were adept at noticing and measuring. Objects rise in east and set in west. Due to rotation of earth about its axis: 1x24^h. The heights of sun"s path through day sky is higher, longer in summer lower, shorter in winter. Different stars are visible in different seasons (some cases)
