Where: attracted to hot/dry places (furnace room, upper oors) Feed (both): starchy food (crumbs), book binding, wall paper adhesive, glue. Control (both): ll wall cracks, remove food/trash, chemical pesticides (can harm us) Species: 4,000+ cockroaches (few natural enemies = more species/survival) House species: 50 (4 of these are common worldwide; size largest - smallest) Enemies: few = quick runners & body is well protected (have wings but don"t y) Site inspection: where they may be hiding. Feed: anything made from plants/wood (furniture, house structure, paper) Nests: outside the house only, inside the ground. Dry wood termites: can make nests in house/food source (in furniture/house)
