Bile is necessary for the digestion of fats; however, bile is not a digestive enzyme. Bile stored and concentrated in gall bladder. Liver has many functions only digestion function is the production of bile. Bile salts- are steroid molecules with one end soluble in water (polar end) and the other end soluble in fat (nonpolar end).
