Built whole mathematical framework + a way of practice that"s used today. Color is purely is the perception, it"s in our mind light is the activator of color. Before newton: aristotle thought light was the activator of colour, but color was a property of an object. Aristotle + medieval thinkers thought that a prism stains light.
