This experiment was done several different times using different sources: different light sources were used such as direct sunlight, the experiment was done during cloudy conditions, an ordinary light bulb was used as well. By using different blocking for uv light such as sunglasses and using a clear glass door, sunscreens was also used, uv-sensitive (color changing) beads, clear plastic bag, sunscreen sample and sunglasses (black normal). Experiment using direct sunlight , this experiment was done on wednesday march 14th, 2012 at 2:00pm and the temperature was 16 degrees and sunny. The bead was places on the stone stairs. As soon as the bead was placed on the stairs, the colour of the bead started to change, within couple of seconds the colour of the bead changed to purple. The colour of the bead got darker as it was left in the sunlight for ten minutes.
