This study guide has been designed to help you prepare for the final exam, which will take place on wednesday december 21 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in acw 004. You will be asked to provide the meaning and significance of 6 terms - out of 10 (10% each = 60%). You must discuss the terms in the broader context in which they have been addressed in the course, giving specific examples where possible, and/or indicating why each term is significant to the course. You will be asked to address one essay question out of two (40%). Your answer must be presented in essay format. The exam is worth 20% of your final grade. Instructions will ask you to ground your answers in course material (readings, lectures, tutorial discussions) and to avoid generalizations. Note that you should not contact the course director or ta asking them to define the terms and discuss the essay topics.
