Politics is always running through every cultural aspect of our lives. Lebron james wearing a shirt reading i can"t breathe in response & in support of eric garner and his family. This is an example of political culture and a political statement. Colin kaepernick kneeled during national anthem, didn"t stand. He did this to show he is in support of the lives being lost due to police murdering citizens out of racism. He does not support what is going on in the united states = political statement. Culture is always political and politics always has a cultural aspect. For most of human history, people haven"t imagined that human kind has been divided into races (there was no concept of race to understand themselves or differences from others) If you were born somewhere else, your language would be different. You aren"t born with language, you learn it. We aren"t biologically programmed to speak english.
