Law, justice and jurisprudence: final lecture - december 3, 2015. It"s the little structures that create the conditions for our lives social justice. They distribute rights and freedoms throughout society, which decide how individuals live. Everyone is affected, from birth to death. The course began with general considerations of nature of law: in particular to relation to morality, marx, rawls, nahanee, mill, davies and the labour laws. We applied ideas of these theorists to more concrete and formal nature of legal systems. What would be a good system of laws. Will be drawn from the last part of the course. Debates that have centered questions of justice, whether it is racial, gender, class, or something else. Critiques of legal systems from the feminist"s perspective like davies, mills, etc. Focus on readings from october 15th to the end of the course. 4 essay questions you will be required to answer only 2. Drawn from the later part of the course.
