Description
Psychology  ▯ study of human behavior and mind.  • Out of sight out of mind [shey] • When the cat is away the mouse plays [shey] Psychologist do not relay on common sense and steer away from after facts explanations. When  they come up with facts about human behavior its based on scientific methods ▯ methods of step  by step. Scientific method: Walking around downtown seeing someone walks up to a total stranger, punches them and walks  away = what just happened and what would you do? • You would come up with a theory: general abstract statement [what is a common  theory running through all these observations]  • Theory is so abstract that you got to narrow it down to be able to further examine it
