Document Summary

Scientific method is based on empirical data (direct observation) It"s not based on assumptions and based on direct observation from where you conduct the nature and it"s obtained. Observe different acts of your research and try to make some sense of it. Theory is supposed to make sense of all the observations. Theory is so general and abstract and from trying to go into depth with more specific testable results you go from general theory to hypotheses. Educated guess of what you think is going to happen in your study. Have to define your terms very specifically making it easy for future researchers to know the exact definition and know exactly what to do. Be really specific how you define what you are doing. No, because there are a lot more factors that need to be accounted for. Results should be repeatable with some groups. You can never prove a theory to be true unless every single possibility is tested.
