Libido associated with sexual energy: death instincts. Preconscious- has to think for a second but still in your mind. Unconscious- require a lot of work to bring to your mind. Stages of psychosexual development: sexual - refers to the many urges for physical pleasure, erogenous zones (ez) zones (parts of the body) that need pleasure producing stimulation to reduce tension, oral stage: 15 months first tendency to sexual behaviour up being selfish substitute from not sucking when a child years old) Resolution: conflictual feelings are repressed so anxiety is reduced & boy identifies with dad (sex role model, imitates dad now know as gender identity).
