Document Summary

Use whom you want to describe or measure proper behavior. Observe them when they think nobody is watching. You can have a participant observer: observing the subjects but are participating in the experiment as well. Videotaping is a great way of observing discreetly, enables you to look at the observation over and over again. The experimenter has control over the situation. Variables: time, age, aspects of people, weather, size peoples mental state, intelligence, gender. Independent variable (cause): the experimenter manipulates to see if it has an effect on behavior. Dependent variable (effect): the behavior that measured to see of the i. v has an effect. Important variables will be mentioned in the experiment. Control group: used as the standard for comparison. Gets the 0 amount of the independent variable. The control and experimental group must be equal in every way except for the independent variable.
