Critical thinking; is a logical and rational process of avoiding ones misconceptions by gathering evidence, evaluating alternative kinds of explanations and coming to a conclusion. Statistics reporting: critical thinking; scientific foundation to the theory, a lot of times; some believes are flawed, there could be an alternative explanation to things, good research has to; Pass a panel of research and actually contributing something to that area of research. Provide an explanation to support their hypothesis. And you should see if there is an alternative explanation to the research. Greater control over extraneous variables: main disadvantage; Generalizability; not same result of lab and the real life setting: variables; anything that can change is a variable. Cause=>independent variable(iv); the variable that the experimenter manipulates or changes to see if it has an effect on a given behaviour.
