Oct 4th, 2018: epilepsy starts in the temporal lobe. Because the area of the brain is limited and so the resources are limited. In the motor cortex, the face and the hand and the tongue, take up almost 50% of the motor cortex. You need this for the fine details these areas are responsible for (fine motor control). In the visual cortex, this representation is very similar to the motor cortex as well. Infants can dance based on the beat in the music: reason: at 18-weeks gestation in utero, you hear the beat of your mother"s heart. Almost by 50%: by dancing, you have to create new neural pathways, you"re learning something new, the neurotechniques graph, the x axis is the time, and the y axis is the space. Inducing lesions: you cause a lesion in a specific area of the animal"s brain, but all you can measure is if there"s damage in that site.
