***Roger’s approach to psychotherapy was considered
revolutionary because:
it required no diagnosis,

o Goal of therapy:
Help people overcome their Conditions of Worth
Help people live by their Organismic Valuing Process
o Roger’s therapy became client-centered when Rogers realized
that the therapist had to make an active attempt to understand and
accept a client’s subjective reality before progress could be made.
