Initial psychological interview; run 3 to 4 sessions; to do a good initial assessment of the people or individual: purpose of this: Intake; clinicians tend to check back and forth with other clinicians to verify the disorder . An intake can be a phone intake or face to face intake but its better face to face; phone intake less expensive; informational gathering; diagnosis gathering. First interview (first couple meetings) of psychotherapy different categorise of information that you want to get: hpi; history of the present illness.
