Maslov hiarchy of needs, last stage (self-actualization) growth needs ones below were de ciency needs. * will be on test, must know that what you are de cient pushes you to connect with people. Big five extroverts - more likely to connect and interact with others,high lvl of activity seeking, higher lvl of assertiveness. Introverts - lower in extroversion, do not need as much arousal, prefers smaller groups more self-aware. Issac theory based on arousal believed ppl who were extroverts they had lower lvl of arousal and seemed activity to get their lvls up txt. Book says that extroverts are happier then introverts, but perhaps the ways of measuring happiness are made for extrovert happiness agreeableness - ppl w/ high agreeableness tend to go with the ow, agree with the group, Person-group t - people pick groups are t their needs and their personality, groups pick people who t their group & culture.
