Type assessments - your not compared with other people and it doesn"t use as an extensive way of collecting your data - the big 5 uses a continuum. Based on your true and false, they put you on one category and then the other. 4 dimensions - each has 2 letters and you are given 1. Classifies individuals along 4 theoretically independent dimensions or types. Extroversion-introversion scale - looks at your energy, where do you get your energy. E: oriented primarily toward the outer world; focus on people and objects. I: oriented primarily toward the inner world; focus on concepts and ideas. Sensing-intuition scale - perceptual processes - ery similar to openness to experience. S: individual reports observable facts through one or more of the five senses. Should have a lower openness to experience score - objective, rational.
