Public law, criminal justice system (cjs) and community. Interest groups, social movements, community based organizations in advocating or proposing a particular law. Put pressures, lobby, provincial, federal, municipal government in order to propose a law. Crime preventions, controlling the crime, was heavily centralized. Community involvement, how the community becomes a partner with the police in terms of problem solving (crime preventions), not just answering crimes but preventing them. Under representation in police, court, correctional facilities, many attempts to increase women representation. Relates with the needs of woman offenders, and victims of crimes. Attempt to facilitate the case proceedings and early interventions in domestic violence. Providing support for those victims in domestic violence. Individuals and groups who are specialized in this area. Youth offenders, elderly offenders, mental offenders, drug addicted offenders. Not just to control the crime, but to rehabilitate and to provide certain services that are needed in order to overcome these problems.
