Scientific method, process of making observations and testing conclusions. Life sciences as explanation for our own current lives. Concrete manifestation of an idea or theory. Technological fluidity- designed for one purpose yet used for others. Enhance ease of use of everyday routine. Meet increasing/new needs that were created by previous technologies. No, it takes a while to acquire. The process of the scientific method however has elements of common sense. Yes math operates as a language of nature, and is indeed translatable across cultures though perhaps in varying ways to illicit the same answer. Yes, for the most part, via the scientific method. Though what science previously deemed truth at one point in time may later be disproven as false with the additional knowledge. Reliability in science relies on consistency of methods used to corroborate phenomena and experimental conditions between different scientists. Credibility and reputation contribute to trustworthiness of scientific knowledge largely through peer review.
