Document Summary

At the thought of leading a small group discussion, i was initially overcome with fear and nerves. Knowing that this would be a good chance for each of us in the group to express and share our point of views and receive critical feedback did little to alleviate the feeling of dread that washed over me. As i resolved to make the best of this experience and started my readings on. Mythistory, i became very intrigued by the ideas put forth by the respective writers. The topic made for fascinating reading and before long, i was formulating questions for discussion and anxious to share my perspectives on certain issues. On the day of the tutorial, my group consisted of four members, including myself, and this allowed each individual a reasonable amount of time to express him/herself. I directed my group"s focus on issues regarding why myths such as the ever popular columbus legend persist in society.
