High status is seen as a valuable earthly good for many. ^narrow view, it relates to a person"s professional standing in a group. Back until the 1(cid:889)(cid:889)(cid:888), societies in the west have measured an individual"s status through the person"s financial gains. Status anxiety is a disturbance that damages a person"s life loss of a person"s respect & dignity. People"s self believes of what others make of them is highly valued & depended on to. Recession, promotions, retirement, success of friends, redundancy are examples of what provokes anxiety feel tolerable. Status is something difficult to require & even harder to keep, unless you are born into it and have noble royal blood. Danger of failing to conform to the ideals created by society, which could result into the. Status anxiety has the power to inspire extreme sorrow.
