Importance of art: control over your image and representation, self portraits. Challenge the idea that the only pictures we should be looking at are the ones that are fed to us. Subjectivity is a powerful place to come from: artist bios. Community based education: share processes of learning, dinner dialogs. People want to have conversations but don"t know how and don"t have the space to do it. A place where people feel like they are welcome and not judged: deconstructing ideas about what knowledge looks like. If revolution isn"t gonna be fun, people won"t want to do it. We have to record these events because nobody else will. Community based research: sex work zine, archive histories. Community caf : workshops on how to be nice, young people know what they want to learn.
