Oil-grain seed complex = society tries to subdue/dominant/manage nature. Humans men + white + higher class. Not all human included due to certain discourses. Pesticides/gmo for less money + less work for most output. Cost effectiveness ex: not feeding the animal. Monoculture large volume of one grain. Arable land land that can be cultivated. Need a lot more food to provide for people. Override solution to farming problems band-aid something does not fix the problem but instead hides it. Evolutionary theory is used to justify existing hierarchy. Things are the way they are because this is the way we have evolved. Feral children children raised by animals wild child. How much is nature + how much is nurture. Genes do play a role but some behavior is environmental. Humanism created in the light of enlightenment which was created by white men. Humanism fails to complete what it holds to be the ideal. Good side as well as bad side.
