Even though both sons die, creon ordered that polynices" body not be buried, seeing as he betrayed everyone, and if anyone should do this, they would also die (by stoning). Antigone (one of the sisters of polynices) wanted to bury his body, as per the natural laws, and did so, despite creon"s law.
