Kant, we are made in the image of god but are also dust from the ground. No such thing as an incorporeal soul, kant does not believe that our soul live on after we die. Human action involves choices that are not in them selves causes, what kant means by causes are empirical stimuli, humans can act on the basis of reason and logic alone, we are simply mixed creatures. We are endowed with possibility, but are subject to necessity. We have idealist elements but also have materialist elements. Kant believes that humans must use their own reason to figure what is right and wrong.
