Transphobia: is an everyday occurrence & it is something that is naturalized in our culture, 20% of trans people is subject to sexual assault due to their gender identity. There is a gap between equality opposed of the level of law & actual practice. Government issues id: gender surgery suggests that a medical intervention of one"s gender identity, the humans right of ontario ruled that gender surgery is no longer a requirement. Canadians do not need to identify themselves as male or female on their passport. Ensure the fair, ethical & equitable treatment of people with trans & non binary gender identity. Ontario health cards no longer appears information the person"s sex on the face of the card.
