Unconscious values whiteness and characteristics of whiteness. Denial of racism is the biggest obstacle for overcoming it. We have to be aware of it and not act as though it does not exist. We have a dominant imagery in our culture that excludes people of colour. To understand racism require knowledge on a whole worldview. We need to change our mode of thinking to solve the problem of racism. Reich: new idea of revolution is the idea of fundamental social change (an ideological approach) This revolution does not require violence nor can it be resisted by violence and promises liberation. A change in consciousness that results in a change in political and economic solutions. Social media and phones depersonalizes our relationships with others. Emergence of new consciousness seeks knowledge of how to be human. Nar(cid:272)issis(cid:373) is a for(cid:373) of (cid:862)loss of self(cid:863) A sense of unreality and powerlessness in the dominant culture. We are powerless to fix problems reich listed.
