Social construction - meaning and understanding of human relationships help construct human health. All problems w/ social determinants of health can be linked back to race, rasicm, inequality. 1991-2000: 1"000"000 black ppl died merely due to their blackness. Black and latino are more likely to be pulled over for drugs when white people are 4. 5 times more likely to have drugs on them. 6% of white people believe that the racial minorities are oppressed today. White privieldge is real at a psychological level. White people in us believed that iraq would take them in b/c of the ignorance of their white priviledge and they believe that the world is their"s to shape. When developing the states, white ppl brought more white ppl on their side to keep black ppl down. White ppl also in the same economic level as black people were thinking that they needed to keep black"s out like they were the problem.
