The two main models of service = case management or assertive. Case management: broker case management where the case manager, usually a social worker or occupational therapist, has a variety of people on his or her roster and acts as a broker of services. Case manager does nothing but determine and find appropriate services for his/her clients. Clinical case management model where the case manager, in addition to brokering services, provides training or instrumental support. Act can be thought of as intensive case management but with a different (multidisciplinary) model.
