The framers really meant for the congress to be the most powerful branch. Even though all branches were created equal checks and balances. Today it is probably the weakest branch. Governors have been going abroad to try to attract business. The roman catholic church"s attempt at making all land god"s land . The first people in america (the native americans) were presumed to be from siberian russia. There is also a lot of evidence that the vikings (norsemen) came to rob, plunder, and then leave. The american indians were not that rich but the land was rich with animals/foods that other cultures wanted. The colonists and immigrants who flocked to america at this time brought with them many diseases. Killed almost all of the native americans off through disease, starvation, etc. Moving them to places where they didn"t know how to survive. Naming the native americans savages is such a misnomer.
